System Structure
Our PIDS system has several possible structures.
Structure 1 - Standard Full Passive Plug'n Play
Main advantages:
- Hardware zones
- Full Passive
- Plug'n Play
- Suitable for perimeters with lengths less than 3km.
- Suitable for private houses, small compounds, government facilities, power plants and substations, military armory, or communication towers.
Stand Alone System using Mainframe NSB-600R
On Fence Deployment
Structure 2 - Full Passive Long-Perimeter Network - CIM-D
Main advantages:
- Hardware zones
- Full passive network
- Suitable for long perimeters : borders, pipelines, railways, subways, and military structures
Using proven DWDM technology, the Nxtar Fiber Optic Communication Interface Module- DWDM is made possible
by the Fiber Optic Communication Interface Module (FOCIM) allows for long distance communication between the
NS-Controller and its respective zones with a maximum of 16 nodes (each node carries signal for 6 Zones)
along the ring using only one 7-core fiber. This not only lowers overall system cost, it also ensures
stability and is 100% passive.
One Node Overview
Using CIM-D communication methods, Nxtar uses its armored Communication Fiber to communicate with
each node and transmits the signal from each node back to the control station for analysis. One single run
of Communication Fiber can communicate with up to 16 nodes or 96 zones which is equivalent to 48km of perimeter on fence.
System Overview
Nxtar's CIM-D Node is responsible of distributing the powerful light source into each Zone.
and collecting the signal back to the node. Distance between the node and perimeter can be set by user
geographical requirements.
