Nxtar Technologies, Inc. has developed a series of SLD broadband light sources. All units exhibit excellent spectral and power stabilities. The stabilized SLD broadband light sources are useful for all optical passive component-related measurements. The Ultra-stability Controlled Technique enables long-term power stability of ± 0.03 dB for 8 hrs @ 25 °C and spectrum stability of ±0.03dB/nm for 8 hrs @ 25 °C. The SLD-2800 can be customized to integrate as a broadband testing source from 1250nm to 1630nm or 1250nm to 1670nm.
